A downloadable tool

This is something I made for myself, but it's pretty useful. The extension hides content with tags that you don’t want to see, giving a cleaner feed that more closely matches your taste.

The extension does not access, hold, send or save any of your account data, everything is client side.

I've tested the extension on Chrome and Brave. Hope you find it useful 🫡

On first load, if itch is open, you may need to refresh the page 👍

Install instructions

FOR ITCH.IO DOWNLOADED VERSION ONLY

  1. Unzip the downloaded zip file (folder inside) 
  2. Open Chrome. In Extensions, choose Manage Extensions.
  3. Enable Developer mode (top-right)
  4. Click Load unpacked (top-left)
  5. Select the folder that you just unzipped
  6. Better Itch.io is now active. Pin it, if you like
  7. Reload itch.io (CTRL + F5)
